If you’re on the hunt for an affordable everyday sedan that doesn’t scrimp on features, the 2025 Nissan Sentra is a good pick. Check out what it has to offer.

Power and Fuel Economy

The Sentra comes with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that makes 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a CVT, and front-wheel drive comes standard. This setup returns 34 mpg combined, with 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. On the SR, highway mileage drops to 38 mpg, but that’s because this trim comes with larger 18-inch wheels.

Exterior Features

The base S model keeps the exterior simple but stylish with a black front grille, halogen headlights, and 16-inch steel wheels. Step up to the SV to get alloy wheels and the SR for LED headlights. Heated mirrors with LED blinkers are also available, along with a power moonroof.

Interior Space and Comfort

Inside the Sentra, you’ll find cushy zero-gravity front seats that keep you relaxed on long drives. The front row offers 43.8 inches of legroom, while the rear row has 34.9 inches. You can haul 14.3 cubic feet worth of cargo, and even more with the rear seats folded down. All models have push-button ignition, and you can start the engine from a distance with the available remote engine start feature.

You can customize your comfort with available extras like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. The optional rear armrest with cupholders makes rides more comfortable for the crew in the back.

Audio and Connectivity

Up front, you’ll get a 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can get directions on the screen, stream content on the go, and send or receive texts. Siri Eyes Free and Google Assistant are also included, so you can control the infotainment system with your voice and keep your focus on the road.

The SV and SR trims come with an 8-inch touchscreen unit with SiriusXM, giving you more entertainment options. They also replace the base 4-speaker audio system with a 6-speaker stereo and offer an optional Wi-Fi hotspot. A Bose Premium sound system with eight speakers is available as well.

Advanced Safety Features

All Sentra models come with advanced driver-assist tech that gives you peace of mind on the road. The standard automatic emergency braking system helps avoid collisions with pedestrians and cars in front of you. You’ll also find a rear automatic braking system, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to help you back up safely. Blind spot warning and lane departure warning also come standard.
